d_Drawing — Concept

d_Drawing is an evolving artistic project by visual artist Roland Sascha Albanese that explores the relationship between movement, liquid dynamics and abstract visual composition.

The series investigates how natural physical processes — flowing liquids, pigment interactions and light reflections — can generate structures that resemble drawing and painting. Instead of traditional tools, motion, gravity and fluid dynamics become the instruments that create the visual forms.

d_Drawing 1.0 represents the origin of the project. In this phase, liquid color and spontaneous motion produce organic formations that appear like abstract drawings created by natural forces. The works capture fleeting visual moments where physical processes temporarily become visual compositions.

d_Drawing 2.0 continues this evolution by expanding the visual language. The captured structures are further developed through compositional refinement and digital interpretation, transforming the raw liquid formations into more complex abstract systems.

Through this progression, d_Drawing moves between photography, drawing and digital abstraction, forming a bridge between physical phenomena and contemporary visual art.

Selected works from the series exist both as physical artworks and as NFTs archived on blockchain platforms, creating a connection between traditional art presentation and digital preservation.
